LEED® Credit MR 2.1 & 2.2 Construction Waste Management: Divert from Disposal (Up to 2 Pts)
Consolidated Fabricators Corp. products are manufactured from cold-formed steel, which is 100% recyclable. This feature will help when redirecting waste or debris from the waste stream. Recycling construction waste contributes to LEED Credits MR 2.1 and 2.2. The precise contribution varies by project and must be determined by the contractor.
LEED® Credit MR 4 Recycled Content: (Up to 2 pts)
Consolidated Fabricators Corp.'s steel products have a minimum of 25.5% Post-Consumer(approx) and 6.8% Post-Industrial(approx) recycled content.

LEED® Credit MR 5 Local/Regional Materials: (Up to 2 pts)
Consolidated Fabricators Corp. serves the Western United States through its primary locations in Fontana and Galt, California.

LEED® Credit MR 5 requires the jobsite to be within a 500 mile radius of the manufacturing plant and from the point of extraction of raw materials. We purchase our steel coils from various sources all over the world, including the two West Coast mills (CSI in Fontana and USS Posco in Pittsburg, CA).
